How to put on a removable Eyebrow Tattoo There are several reasons people go out and get an eyebrow tattoo. Some people may be suffering from the side effects of chemotherapy, and can't grow eyebrows. Others may want to save time by not having to pencil in their eyebrows.
If you're not sure a permanent eyebrow tattoo is the way you should go, you can opt for a removable tattoo. Some companies offer such tattoos at reasonable prices. They last about two to three days, are waterproof, and are easy to apply. Difficulty: Easy
InstructionsThings You'll Need: - temporary eyebrows
 - alcohol
- straight edge
- Prep your eyebrows. Wet a soft tissue with alcohol, and gently wipe over the area where you're going to apply the eyebrow. It is important to make sure the area is clean and oil free. If there is dirt and grease on your skin, the eyebrows may not adhere properly.
- Line them up evenly. You'll want to make sure you line up the temporary eyebrows evenly on your face. Before you peel them off the page, get a ruler or straight edge and use it as a guide to mark where you want to apply them.
- Choose the right shade for your false eyebrows. One of the biggest mistakes first time brow wearers make is that they choose a shade that is too dark. You want the eyebrow to look natural as possible. Choose a shade that is at least one shade lighter than your natural hair.
- Apply the temporary tattoo. Peel the tattoo from the adhesive and apply to your face. Take extra care to put them where you marked, when you lined them up in Step two.
- Remove the tattooed eyebrow. Using baby oil, gently wipe over the brow area. This will loosen the adhesive solution, and you should be able to peel the brows right off.
- Reorder as needed. Once you remove the tattoo, it can't be reused. You can buy a week's supply for around three dollars online. Check the resource boxes below for companies that sell removable eyebrow tattoos.
How to Maintain Your EyebrowsIt's important to maintain your eyebrows. In general, people have eyebrows. The personal part of eyebrows is what you want to do with them, essentially, how you maintain your eyebrows. There really is an art when you want to maintain your eyebrows - you have to choose a shape, thickness, style, and more. You may even choose to get permanent eyebrows tattooed on, or get laser hair removal around parts of your eyebrows. The decision about how to maintain your eyebrows is personal, so make eyebrow decisions wisely. Difficulty: Easy Instructions- When maintaining your eyebrows on a regular basis, you have many choices. You can choose to tweeze your eyebrows, wax your eyebrows or thread your eyebrows. Tweezing is the most economical option since it can be done at home by yourself, but waxing and threading are quicker and more precise. Eyebrow waxing and eyebrow threading are often done by professionals.
- If you are first trying eyebrow maintenance, ask a professional for advice about shaping your eyebrows. An outside observer or professional can offer advice that you may not be able to see yourself. Tell the stylist about your preferences, such as thicker or thinner eyebrows, and then let the stylist advise you.
- If you find an eyebrow stylist who does your brows perfectly, continue going to this person. It is worth paying a little extra or working with your stylist's schedule if the person does a great job maintaining your eyebrows.
- Take a picture of your eyebrows after a particularly good styling. This way, you can show your eyebrow stylist the picture, or use it for reference when you maintain your eyebrows at home. Having a picture for reference will help you get your desired style in the future.
- Brush your eyebrows and maintain them at home regularly by tweezing them. Keeping up with regular eyebrow tweezing will allow you to go out and have a professional maintain your eyebrows less frequently. If you do not maintain your eyebrows at home, you'll get to the point where you need to go to a professional for eyebrow maintenance because your brows will be out of control.
- Stick by the "thicker is safer" rule. That does not mean that you should have thick eyebrows, but it does mean that when you are in doubt, go thicker rather than thinner. You can always thin out your eyebrows, but once you've made them too thin, you'll have to wait until you can change the style.
- If you feel that you have made a permanent decision about how you like your eyebrows, you can make permanent changes to your eyebrows. One option is to have your eyebrows tattooed on with permanent makeup. I would not recommend this unless you are absolutely sure of this decision, since tattoos are permanent. Or, you can have laser eyebrow removal to shape your eyebrows. This is a good option for people with large eyebrows who would like a permanent solution.
Tips & Warnings - Be adventurous with your eyebrows. You may find a style that you really like, even if it's initially outside of your comfort zone.
- Permanent makeup is (obviously) permanent, as is laser hair removal. Make sure to trust anyone who is doing a permanent eyebrow procedure on you.
- Keep in mind that you may need to touch up permanent eyebrow makeup or laser hair removal in the future. While they are permanent, time can have visible effects on your eyebrows.
How to Arch Your EyebrowProfessional eyebrow waxing is great for keeping your brows neat and trimmed. But you can easily maintain the shape and arch you want on your own and home. InstructionsThings You'll Need: - Eyebrow pencil
- Tweezers
- Eyebrow brush
- Makeup brush
- Brush the brow in the direction you like using the eyebrow brush. For a more dramatic look that accentuates the arch, brush the brow up on an outward slant. For a more relaxed look, brush the brow in a more rounded direction.
- Draw the arch and shape that you desire into your eyebrow, using the eyebrow pencil. This will create a guide for tweezing.
- Use the tweezers to pluck below the eyebrow pencil markings below the line you drew into your brow.
- Wipe away the plucked strays using the makeup brush, then use the eyebrow brush to comb brow again in the desired shape. If the brow is clean and shaped properly, move on to step 5. Otherwise, continue to pluck at and below your drawn brow line.
- Use the tweezers to clean up the area between your two eyebrows and any strays above the brows.
- Fill in the brow using the eyebrow pencil. Concentrate mostly on the inner end which should be slightly thicker and fuller than the outside end in order to create an arched effect.
How to Place Your Eyebrow Arch An easy way to place where your arch goes when arching your eyebrows. It's all about symmetry. Difficulty: Easy
InstructionsThings You'll Need: - Pencil
- Eye Liner
- Wax, Eyebrow Razor, or Tweezers
- Aligning the Pencil. Using a pencil, line the body of the pencil against your nose, with the lead tip pointing north. Swing the pencil toward eye, stopping when your pupil is covered by the body of the pencil. The pencil should for a line with the middle of your upper lip, the side of your nose, and your pupil. Where the point lands is where your arch should be. Refer to image.
- With solid eyeliner, mark where your arch should be.
- Shape eyebrow as usual, using wax, tweezers or eyebrow shaper.
